fall Essentials #1

Fall is the perfect time of year to create a natural medicine cabinet with items known to help support the immune system, reduce fever, calm a cough, inhibit bacteria and virus and make you feel good, Naturally.

Essential Oils are on the top of my list, and Thieves essential oil blend (from Young Living Essential Oils) is one that I personally include in my natural medicine cabinet.

Thieves is a blend of 5 Essential Oils:

Clove
(
Syzygium aromaticum) numbs pain, is an Antioxidant, Anti-infectious, Antiviral, Bactericidal and Warming

Lemon (Citrus limon) is Anti-infectious, Antiseptic, Antiviral and an Immune stimulant

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) is Antibacterial, Antiviral and an Antioxidant

Eucalyptus radiata
is Antimicrobial, Antiseptic, Antiviral, Bactericidal, a Decongestant, an Expectorant and Mucolytic

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis CT 1,8 cineol) is Antiviral, Decongestant, Expectorant and Warming

Suggested Safe Uses

  • For children 5 and under: blend 5 Total drops of Thieves essential oil blend in 1 ounce of all-natural lotion or carrier oil. Shake well before using. Massage on back and feet.

  • For adults: blend 10 - 12 Total drops of Thieves essential oil blend in 1 ounce of all-natural lotion or carrier oil. Shake well before using. Massage on chest, back and feet; gently inhale vapors.

  • Diffusing: Place 20 - 30 Total drops of Thieves essential oil blend in a cold-air diffuser; using a timer, set the timer to diffuse for 10 - 15 minutes on the hour every hour
Carrier Oils
Jojoba, sweet almond oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, V6 Mixing Oil (Young Living Essential Oils)


Safety
  • Avoid direct eye contact and contact with mucous membranes
  • In the event of eye contact or contact with mucous membranes, flush with carrier oil
  • Store Essential Oils out of reach of children and pets
  • Store Essential Oils in cool, dark place - away from heat and light
