Turn off the Tube
People are shocked when they learn that I don't own a TV - some even find it unAmerican. As American as it may be, I didn't find the doom and gloom news or pill ads very entertaining so i turned of the tube and donated it almost a year ago, and I'm still breathing! So, are you shaking at the thought of what you would possibly do without one?
- Check off items on your "To Do" list
- Bake cookies
- Read a book
- Resume an old hobby
- Organize old photos
- Listen to music
- Learn to play an instrument
- Watch a movie
Living without a TV can add up to as much as $600 annual savings and can really show you what life is all about - Living Simply.
